Old Fourth Distillery is now making bourbon in Atlanta for the first time ever!

Old Fourth Distillery proudly stands as Atlanta’s first legal distillery since 1906. Once nestled in the heart of the historic Old 4th Ward, the location became a gathering spot for many. From 2014 to 2022, they meticulously crafted their spirits, utilizing a state-of-the-art facility that seamlessly integrated cutting-edge technology with time-honored techniques. Every drop of our exquisite spirits originates from regional, sustainable sources, ensuring a taste that is unparalleled in quality and authenticity.

The original Old Fourth Distillery, loved by many, closed its doors in December 2022. However, the current ownership group found a new home in Norcross, Georgia. This new facility boasts not only the distilling, aging, blending, packaging, and back-office operations but also features a private tasting room where consumers can indulge in the distinct flavors of all Shortbarrel and Old Fourth spirits.
